Michael Bay Dot ComTransformers Soundtrack
Burbank, CA - Warner Bros. Records will release the soundtrack to the hotly anticipated feature film Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen on June 23rd — the day before the film, the sequel to the 2007 Oscar-nominated summer blockbuster Transformers , hits theaters nationwide.
The film’s director and executive producer Michael Bay asked Warner Bros. Records’ multiplatinum rock band Linkin Park to provide the sonic backdrop to the live-action robot fantasy film. Not only did the band write and record the film’s theme song, entitled “New Divide,” specifically for the soundtrack, they were also asked by Bay, Oscar-winning composer Hans Zimmer, and award-winning composer Steve Jablonsky to contribute to the score.… [ Read more ]
Transformers Revenge of the Fallen to premiere in the US at The LA FIlm Festival
The Los Angeles Film Festival will host the U.S. premiere for DreamWorks and Paramount’s “Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen” on June 22, two days before the theatrical release.
Film Independent, which made the announcement Wednesday, said the sequel will screen at the Village, Bruin and Avco theaters. The org noted that the fest served a similar role two years ago, when it hosted the L.A. preem for “Transformers,” drawing more than 4,500 guests to five theaters in Westwood.
The festival also announced that tickets to the premiere of “Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen,” directed by Michael Bay and starring Shia LaBeouf, can be obtained by purchasing a pass to the fest.… [ Read more ]
